Vacation Rental Checklist

​

In the kitchen, these tasks will be completed:

• Rugs shook/vacuums and replaced after floor cleaning

• Linens replaced

• Dishes washed & put in designated area

• Sink & faucet scrubbed and polished

• Cabinets spot cleaned & checked for items left behind

• Restock:

 

• Dish soap

• Dishwasher pods

• Coffee

• Sugar/creamers

• Sponges (if necessary)

 

• Empty Fridge & clean inside/outside

• Scrub inside/outside microwave

• Stove top scrubbed & polished

• Oven checked for debris

• Counters scrubbed & polished

• Backsplash splatter free

• Exterior of all small appliances polished

• Light switches & outlet covers cleaned

• Kitchen table washed, including table & chair legs

• Garbage removed, liner replaced & exterior washed

• Floors swept and mopped

• Carpeted areas vacuumed

• Everything reset & left neat and tidy for new guests arrival

In the bathroom, these tasks will be completed:

• Remove and replace linens

• Restock:

 

• Makeup towels

• Makeup removers

• Shampoo

• Conditioner

• Body wash

• Hand soap

• Hand Lotion

 

• Rugs shook/vacuumed, neatly folded and replaced after floor washing

• Exhaust vent dusted

• Cobwebs removed

• Plastic/Porcelain showers/tub surrounds cleaned

• Tiles showers scrubbed with tile brushes

• Inside sinks scrubbed and washed

• Counters scrubbed & polished

• Toothbrush holders, trays, etc cleaned

• Faucets cleaned and polished

• Mirrors shined

• Light fixtures cleaned, including light bulbs

• Towel bars cleaned

• Toilet scrubbed inside

• Toilet scrubbed & disinfected from tank to base at floor

• Toilet paper holders cleaned

• Baseboards wet washed

• Floors second swept

• Hard flooring all hand mopped

• Overall room appearance neat & tidy

 

In the common areas, these tasks will be completed:

• Straighten up any areas/ Reset furniture if needed

• Fold any throw blankets

• Dust any furniture and items

• Mirrors shined

• Wall hangings straightened and dusted

• Cobwebs removed

• Swiffer ceiling fans and light fixtures

• Dust window sills

• Light switches and outlet cover

• Overall appearance neat and tidy

 

In the bedrooms, these tasks will be completed:

• Remove used linens & replace with fresh

• Replace towels & washcloths

• Cobwebs

• Swiffer ceiling fans

• Clean nightstands, desks, etc

• Shine mirrors

• Dust all furniture including bed frames

• Empty garbage & replace liner

• Dust window sills

• Hard flooring swept/mopped

• Carpeted areas vacuumed

• Overall appearance neat & tidy
